The meaning

Why we're called Behind 6

Behind the mask we carry. Six daily rhythms toward quiet rest. Most of us hold it together on the outside while something much louder happens behind it. Behind 6 is built for that hidden place — and for six small rhythms that lead back toward calm.

  1. 01 · The companion

    Speak

Say what's really going on, in your own words, to someone who listens without judging and answers with one kind thing at a time.

  2. 02 · Stay With Me

    Stay

One large button for the worst moments. It stays beside you through panic, one small instruction at a time, adjusting to whether you feel better, the same or worse.

  3. 03 · My Day

    Untangle

Pour everything out of your head, then turn it into a few gentle five-minute steps, with focus mode, routines, a shopping list and a kind end-of-day review.

  4. 04 · Feelings and journal

    Notice

Quick check-ins in the morning, afternoon, evening and night, with faces, times and dates, so you can see how you really were — not how you remember it.

  5. 05 · My Safe Place

    Sanctuary

An illustrated cabin you can sit in, with fire, rain and window views, that slowly fills with things you've earned by looking after yourself.

  6. 06 · Bible and prayer

    Anchor

The whole Bible in a verified translation, gentle reading progress, honest prayer and verses for hard moments — always offered, never pushed.

Behind the mask

Anxiety, ADHD overwhelm, grief and burnout rarely show on the surface. People go to work, answer messages and smile at school gates while their mind races underneath.

Behind 6 starts there: with what's really going on behind the face you show the world. You don't have to perform here, and you don't need the right words.

Day six, on the edge of rest

In the opening chapter of Genesis, people are made on the sixth day — the day just before God rests. We like that picture: human, limited, a little tired, standing right at the edge of rest.

You don't need to share that faith to use the app. But it's the heart of the name: you're allowed to stop. Rest is not something you earn by finishing everything.

Six rhythms, three to five times a day

People tend to reach for Behind 6 a few times a day — a panic at 2am, a heavy afternoon, an ordinary morning when they just want to feel steady. Every visit leads into one of six rhythms.

Not a streak, a rhythm

A rhythm isn't a target. There are no streaks to protect and no guilt for missed days. You come back when you need to, and the app picks up where you left off.
