Behind 6 is a digital wellbeing and self-help service for adults. It supports everyday wellbeing, anxiety self-management, emotional reflection, organisation, personal routines and optional faith exploration. Some content draws on cognitive behavioural, behavioural, acceptance-based, metacognitive and exposure-related principles. That does not make Behind 6 psychotherapy, medical treatment or clinical care.
Behind 6 is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counsellor, healthcare provider or emergency service. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe medication or determine whether symptoms are medically serious. Do not use it as the sole basis for starting, stopping or changing medication, delaying an assessment, or replacing professional care.
Behind 6, its AI companion and its contact form are not monitored continuously or in real time. Do not rely on the service to contact emergency services or another person for you. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or cannot remain safe, contact local emergency or crisis support and a trusted person now.
Some features use artificial intelligence. AI is probabilistic and can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, misleading, unexpected, inappropriate or factually wrong content. It may misunderstand you or fail to follow safeguards exactly. We use safeguards to reduce these risks, but cannot guarantee that every response is correct or suitable.
The companion only has access to information provided through authorised parts of the service. It can misunderstand or infer incorrectly. A pattern, summary or Anxiety Map is a self-help observation, not a clinical assessment or diagnosis. Inferred personal information is presented for confirmation or correction before it is remembered.
STRONGER is evidence-informed self-help and skills training about anxious thinking, catastrophising, worry, uncertainty, avoidance, reassurance seeking, checking, rumination and everyday functioning. It is not a guaranteed treatment or cure. Experiences differ, no result is guaranteed, and you can stop an exercise at any time. Exercises intended to create significant physical sensations are not offered without appropriate review and safeguards.
Discussion of common anxiety experiences is not confirmation that a physical or psychological symptom is caused by anxiety. Seek appropriate medical advice for new, severe, unusual, persistent or concerning symptoms.
Christian and Bible features are optional and offered for education, spiritual support and reflection. Bible text comes from the verified World English Bible British Edition. AI explanations are not infallible or authoritative, and different traditions may interpret passages differently. Faith content is never a substitute for care and never suggests anxiety reflects weak faith.
Behind 6 is currently for people aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18. An account may be suspended or closed if this requirement has not been met.
You are responsible for reasonable security over your account, accurate information where needed, and telling us through the contact form if you believe someone accessed it without permission. Do not allow another person to impersonate you through your account.
You choose what to share. Do not put passwords, payment-card details, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information about other identifiable people into chat, journals or the contact form.
You keep ownership of content you create. You give Behind 6 only the limited rights needed to host, store, process and transmit it to provide, secure and maintain the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information or give identifiable wellbeing, health-related or faith-related information to others for their own advertising. Necessary service providers may process information to provide hosting, authentication, security, support and AI infrastructure. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Relevant information may be sent to an AI provider when needed to generate a response. Our Privacy and AI pages describe what is known about this processing. We will not knowingly present those arrangements more favourably than they operate.
Messages sent through the contact form enter a private administrative inbox. Authorised people may use them to respond, resolve problems, handle privacy or security requests, investigate misuse and meet legal obligations. It is not an emergency channel and may not be reviewed immediately.
Privacy does not mean secrecy from lawful process. Information may have to be preserved or disclosed when required by applicable law, a valid court order or another enforceable obligation.
Do not use Behind 6 to break the law, attack or overload systems, gain unauthorised access, distribute malware, bypass protections, impersonate someone, harm or harass others, manipulate safety systems, scrape protected content, provide unqualified medical treatment to others, or submit content you have no right to use.
We aim to keep Behind 6 reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, upgrades, security work, connectivity, third-party failures or events outside reasonable control may affect it. Features may change or end where reasonably necessary; consumer rights for paid services remain unaffected.
Behind 6 may use or link to services operated by others. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or integration does not mean Behind 6 controls everything they provide.
Unless stated otherwise, the Behind 6 name, software, interface, illustrations, original writing and workflows are owned by or licensed to Behind 6. Third-party and public-domain materials retain their own status. Personal use is allowed; substantial commercial copying or redistribution is not, except where law permits.
Behind 6 does not promise to prevent anxiety, eliminate panic, cure a condition, improve symptoms by a set amount, replace treatment or produce a specific outcome. Our aim is useful support; results depend on many factors outside our control.
You remain responsible for decisions you make. Do not treat confident-sounding AI output automatically as fact. Verify important health, safety, financial or legal information with an appropriate qualified or authoritative source.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not unforeseeable loss or business losses arising from private consumer use, except where law provides otherwise.
Free features may change or end, without removing rights given by law. If paid features are introduced, price, renewal, cancellation and important payment terms will be shown before purchase. Applicable cooling-off, refund and statutory rights remain unaffected.
You may stop at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, fraud, security risk, abuse, legal requirements or material risk to users or the service. Where appropriate, we will explain why.
Terms may change for new features, law, security, technology, providers or operations. The current version and effective date will be displayed. We will take reasonable steps to highlight material changes and will not remove statutory rights retrospectively.
Use the Behind 6 contact form for support, complaints, privacy, safety or security concerns. We aim to investigate legitimate concerns fairly. Do not use the form for emergencies.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to you as a UK consumer. Proceedings may be brought in the courts of the UK nation where you live. Mandatory rights applying in another jurisdiction are not removed.
If one provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues so far as legally possible. A delay in enforcing a right is not necessarily a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable purchase terms form the agreement for using Behind 6.
Behind 6 uses a contact form for all enquiries. No public company number, direct email address, postal address, operator name or personal information is displayed. The contact form is not for emergencies.
